Amazon.com is rolling out its daily deals offerings in Manhattan and Brooklyn on Thursday, touting a 50 percent discount on tickets to a new Cirque du Soleil show and a 74 percent discount for one month of classes at Bikram Yoga Harlem. The online retailer is a late entry into this marketplace, which was essentially invented three years ago by Groupon, the Chicago start-up now awaiting its stock market debut.
