There has been no lackl of response to a $132 billion budget that Gov. Cuomo has described as the solution to the current condition of New York State.

The budget proposes to cut 9,800 State jobs, reduce by $6 million funding to the State student loan program, change the formula for tuition assistance for another $31 million, cut in half building maintenence for the State Fair for $750,000, eliminate the $154,000 salary for head of the state Athletic Commission, cut New York City homeless shelter funding by $16 million while removing subsidies for housing for the homeless that get jobs – $35 million.
