Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week starts tomorrow at Lincoln Center, and I for one have vowed this year is going to be different.

No more lugging giant handbags stuffed with books, water, cameras and shoes. My new mantra: Less is more.

That’s why the items listed below are the only things I plan to tote next week at the tents. Everything else would be a drag. Water? It’s free inside the tents. Reading material? Please–who has the time? Extra shoes? Suck it up–this is fashion week. Digital camera? Leave the photography to the pros and focus on the clothes.
